Pitti Uomo have announced that the guest menswear designer for their 89th season in January 2016 will be Juun.J, the first Korean designer ever to have been chosen for the high-profile trade showcase.

Juun.J is known for his contemporary tailoring, which blends streetwear styles with classical references from Europe and Asia. The Seoul-based designer follows on from Jeremy Scott's presentation of Moschino menswear in June 2015.

The hotly-tipped Sicilian designer and Fendi collaborator Marco De Vincenzo has been announced as the guest womenswear designer, following on from the London-based LVMH Prize winner Thomas Tait.

The guest design project for the season will be adidas Originals' collaboration with White Mountaineering, the label from Japanese designer Yosuke Aizawa, a former assistant to Junya Watanabe.
