He gave Milla her breakout role in The Fifth Element, and now legendary director Luc Besson has cast Queen Delevingne in his latest movie Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, alongsideSpiderman heartthrob Dane Dehaan. Taking to Twitter for the first time, Besson announced the film ("Shooting in December. In theatres 2017") and revealed its first logo. Based on the French graphic novel Valérian and Laureline, which was created by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mezieres in 1967, Dehaan will be Valerian, a time-traveller from the future and Delevingne will be his flame-haired side-kick. It's no secret that Cara's dream has always been of the silver screen rather than the catwalk, and with Face of an Angel under her belt, Paper Towns out this summer, Pan later in the year, Suicide Squad set for release in 2016, and now the much anticipated sci-fi from Luc Besson, it looks like she'll be kicking off her runway shoes for good soon…
