This week, Topshop announced that Goodies goddess Ciara will serve as its newest brand ambassador for her home turf, the USA. The R&B singer shared her excitement by posting a selfie with Sir Philip Green -- chairman of Topshop parent company Arcadia Group -- on Instagram, captioned "So Cool Hearing Sir Philip Introduce Me As The New Brand Ambassador For @TopShop#USA!!!!! I'm So Excited!"

Although no details have been shared on what Ci's involvement will entail, her appointment is a well-considered one. The singer's enthusiasm for the industry is well documented; she's shared shots rocking head-to-toe Hood by Air, snapped selfies with Cara Delevingne and Edward Enniful, and is basically BFFs with Riccardo Tisci (who outfitted her Got Me Good video in hella Givenchy.)

As more and more celebrities assume creative director positions, we're excited to see what Ci will bring to her new role -- hopefully, it's an injection of her own creative perspective.
