Exciting news for Spice Girls fans everywhere (i.e. everyone), as Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel B have revealed they are officially getting back together. The trio announced in a video message that they will be be reforming under the name GEM (their combined initials), celebrating the 20-year anniversary of Wannabe -- which made a fresh appearance this week as the anthem for the gender equality campaign of the UN's 2020 Global Goals.

"You've stood by us for 20 years, and we want to say a big thank you," Geri says in the short clip, with Baby Spice adding, "We've had our ups and downs, but you've always been there".

Although no information has been officially shared on upcoming shows, there have been leaks in tabloid newspapers that suggest there will be a Hyde Park show in London next summer. "We want to celebrate and have a party and when we do, you're all invited," say GEM. We can't wait!
