Celebrating the irony in the lack of importance given to poetry on National Poetry Day, poets Greta Bellamacina, Robert Montgomery, Zimon Drake, Dane Weatherman and special guest readers will be curating a special evening, provocatively titled National Poetry Day: Who Gives a F***k?, at the Soho Revue gallery tonight.

Aside from a series of live poetry performances, Greta Bellamacina and Davina Catt will be showcasing their short film EZRA POUND: The Last Cantos, chronicling the life's work of legendary poet Ezra Pound, "a figure who transcends literary appreciation, who boldly pioneered new modernist values in his poetic language, and whose writing it has been said will last as long as literature itself", through the eyes of his nonagenarian daughter Mary de Rachelwitz who has transformed her Italian 13th Century heritage castle, named Brunnenberg into a shrine to her father. EZRA POUND: The Last Cantos will be showing at the Soho Revue Gallery until 14th October. Happy National Poetry Day!
