anal house meltdown celebrates diwali this weekend
The club night from the art crew is throwing a party for the Hindu festival of lights.
In a bid to celebrate Diwali as they would any other cultural holiday (read Halloween or Christmas), the collective behind Anal House Meltdown are putting on a party for the Hindu festival of lights this Saturday at gay bar The Glory. Their last party was a huge collaborative rave with Chapter 10 at Corsica Studios, and for this part they've opted for something more low key celebratory. The AHMD boys, who have been storming London's art scene this past year with shows at the ICA (Prem Sahib), Barbican (Eddie Peake) and Lisson Gallery (George Henry Longly), are playing a set of "vocal house, techno, jersey club and MORE", as well as creating a special performance. Charlie Porter, Twin Peaks and GHL Please will hit the decks and more acts include Jonny Woo, James Davison and Babydog, "The UK's newest boyband."
Performances start at 9pm at The Glory. £5 after 10pm.
