Get lost in a beautiful first video from New Zealand singer-songwriter Madeline North.

Madeline North is So Below. So below, in fact, that she's a New Zealand native. With only a debut self-titled EP to her name, she's getting all her attention on Soundcloud, particularly for the goth pop track "Drift." But "Far" and its big synths, pulsing bass, and dark harmonies are topped with breathy Bat For Lashes-esque vocals that conjure up images of late night neon lights. It's without a doubt our favorite of the lot. So we're stoked to give you an exclusive look at the accompanying visuals, directed by fellow kiwi Sam Kristofski, who has previously worked with Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Kirin J Callinan.

Shot on film deep down below the ground, the video feels as though it could go in the direction of The Descent or Only God Forgives at any point but instead ends up a well lit crystal-filled rave cave. Beautiful. Screenshot at any point for instant Tumblr content.
