How cool were your musical tastes when you were 15? Because mine were a humiliating mix of listening to My Chemical Romance, playing that one Just Jack song on repeat and telling anyone who would listen that there would never be a band as good as The Libertines. Not as cool then, as Finn Wolfhard, who at 15, already fronts a band playing to screaming fans in NYC and covering The Velvet Underground.

Not content with just being a certified Hollywood It boy, the Stranger Things star also has his own band, Calpurnia, who played this Friday at Brooklyn’s Rough Trade. Their set included a pretty impressive cover of The Velvet Underground classic Here She Comes Now, dedicating the performance to “Lou Reed and Hulk Hogan”. Fair enough.

Planning to record their first full length LP later this year, the band also played a smattering of other covers, including Weezer, Pixies and Twin Peaks. Watch their Velvet Underground tribute below, captured by Rolling Stone, and try not to feel both impressed and jealous.
