The Grammy nominations have started to roll out and so far, Sam Smith is leading the pack with five, followed closely by Pharrell and Ed Sheeran, both on four (and who announced the nominations for the 57th ceremony together live on TV). The 83 award winners will be announced on 8 February next year. Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Katy Perry are also up for titles. Emerging singer Charli XCX has received the first of many expected nominations for Record of the Year for Fancy, her chart-topping duet with Iggy Azalea.
