Don't let the name fool you, 23 year old Chloé Robinson aka DJ Barely Legal's music selection goes way beyond her years and has risen to become one of the most sought after bass music DJs in the UK. The Birmingham-born, London-based selector saw early footings playing grime and garage on BBC Radio 1Xtra's Daily Dose Mix and has not long ago, had the likes of Wiley and Scratchy grace her sets. Recently picked by the masterful Four Tet to play alongside him, Barely Legal's hardworking attitude, impeccable selection and mixing skills has earned her her place amongst the heavyweights.

Mixing up the spectrum of bass music, Chloe is already part of team i-D, having hit us with a heavyweight set on our i-D Mix stage at this year's Field Day Festival. We now welcome her back with a mix that's guaranteed to fire you up for Bestival. Hit play and dance away with Barely Legal's Music To... Get You Ready For Bestival.

What's the most hedonistic party you've ever been to?
I get invited to some pretty mad parties but the most hedonistic would probably be recently after a Boiler Room I ended up with some mates in a lavish hotel like venue. There were hundreds of taxidermied animals including a 6ft stuffed polar bear, a giraffe and a baboon with a rifle handcuffed to its arm. Drank plenty of extravagant cocktails too...

What's the most phenomenal clubbing venue in the world and why?
In the UK I would definitely say Fabric. Last week I finally made it to DC-10 in Ibiza for Circoloco which was incredible. The planes flying over your head, the crowd and the sound systems made it seriously phenomenal.

If you could go back to back with any DJ, at any venue, who would it be and why?
I'd say someone fun like Artwork in a water park under the Florida sun.

What was the best night of your life?
Not actually a night but the whole of Outlook in 2010 when I rolled there on my own. I had just turned 18 and genuinely didn't know one person out there.

What's the most debauched thing you've ever seen on the dance floor?
Saw a couple having actual sex on the dance floor in Ayia Napa. Sassy.

What would your dream rider consist of?
A collection of exotic animals including some tiger cubs and one baby alligator. And an endless supply of Mojitos.

What does your actual rider consist of?
"Premium" vodka, tropical tropicana, Haribo and a crate to stand on while I DJ.

What's your favourite party anthem of all time?
Shy FX - Feelings.

What producer are you predicting big things from this year?
Wen, who I am really excited to be releasing a tune from on my new label Pretty Weird in the near future.

Where do you go when the record ends and the lights come on?
The afterparty obviously.

What track would you end the night on when everyone's still awake and it's time to go to sleep?
What do you mean? Time to go to sleep?

What's your party trick?
Twerking.

Finish the sentence, the music sounds better with...
...a serious amount of bass.
