A trailer for the upcoming Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds album, Skeleton Tree, as well as the accompanying 3D feature film by Andrew Dominik, One More Time With Feeling, has today been revealed.

"Most of us don't want to change, really. I mean, why should we?," Cave says, over the sound of his delicate piano playing. "What we do want, is sort of modifications on the original model," he continues, as dramatic violin and distortion takes over. "But what happens when an event occurs that is so catastrophic, that you just change?"

Originally planned to be a performance-based film, the concept of Andrew Dominik's One More Time With Feeling changed to reflect the tragic background to the album Nick Cave was making: in July 2015, his and Susie Bick's 15 year old son Arthur died falling from a cliff in Brighton after taking LSD.

The film will premiere on 8 September at the 2016 Venice Film Festival, a day before the release of Skeleton Tree.
