Exactly what you'd want from a Lolawolf/Warpaint side project.

Jimmy Giannopoulos of LOLAWOLFMothxr and Reputante has teamed up with Warpaint bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg (who recently put out her solo album, right on!) to form new band Crewshade. Inspired by early '80s punk, thrash, and hip-hop, the Beastie Boys influence is loud and proud.

Following in the fiery wake of "Julio's a Narc" and "Show You How To Bop," the unlikely power team have called on serial rap fan Samantha Urbani to vocal their third release, "East illage." "It's all about the slime," producer Jimmy says of the track. "Samantha came 2 hang in the studio and spit some. Then we went 2 go see JC + The Voidz at House of Vans. It was hot out. Jenny on bass." And that's pretty much all you need to know! We love it when people from our favorite bands team up with people from our other favorite bands... kind of like when Peter Griffin showed up in Springfield. This project is so ill that it is incurable. What's your handle bruh?
