Following the launch of Jay Z's Tidal last week, Diddy has stepped up to prove once again that rappers do so much more than just rap. Adding animated comedy to his existing empire of TV, music, clothing and aftershave, it has been announced that he will team up with King of the Hill writer Chip Hall and Detroit's Comedian CP to executive produce a South Park-inspired series.

Set in inner-city Detroit, Brightmoor will follow the lives of the African American students of Brightmoor Elementary in a show that we're predicting big things from. The news follows a number of Diddy South Park cameos, including a parody of last year's 'VOTE OR DIE' election campaign. "Only do shit you believe in!" the NY-native tweeted the other day, both signalling that the FX show is a real passion project and sharing words of wisdom with the world. Due to air later this year, keep an eye out for this one
