"I'm baaaaaaaack," Le1f wrote on Facebook earlier today as he shared his new single and video -- and the NYC rapper really means it. Produced by SOPHIE, the super-hip London producer who's recently been tapped for collaborations by Madonna and Charli XCX, Koi is a freaky-catchy slab of futuristic blip-pop which finds Le1f giving a guy who's trying too hard the brush-off. "You wanna dance but ain't got no rhythm," he raps on the first verse. "Tell me, how will this transition to kissing?"Koi's video, made down under with director Simon Ward, is every bit as crazily inventive as the track itself. Voguing on the beach, bouncing giant eyeballs and multicoloured fish swimming across the sky? They're all there. Koi is the first single to be lifted from Le1f's forthcoming debut album Riot Boi, set for release this autumn, and it's getting us very, very excited.
