Supreme is teaming back up with cult singer, songwriter, and visual artist Daniel Johnston. The brand announced this morning that Johnston's illustrations will feature in a collaborative capsule collection to be released later this week as a part of its spring/summer 15 offerings.

Supreme first featured three of Johnston's illustrations on a series of brightly hued graphic tees back in 2012. This time around, the brand has expanded its Johnston offerings to four original drawings featured on a whole host of styles, including the Harrington jacket, work shirt, long sleeve top, hooded sweatshirt, crewneck sweatshirt, 5-panel hat, four graphic T-shirts, and some super-covetable key chains.

Outside of the hero worship its own fire engine red box logo has inspired, Supreme has always had a soft spot for highly original, darkly humorous illustration. Johnston's unique world of four-headed beasts and flying eyeballs seemingly have a welcome home at Lafayette St, given the success of the brand's past Raymond Pettibon and Mark Gonzales-illustrated collections.

The Daniel Johnston capsule will be available at Supreme's New York, Los Angeles, and London locations, as well as its web shop, on April 16. Japanese shoppers can battle it out for the pieces on April 18. We're wondering how many hardcore fans have already gotten in line.
