Storm modeling agency has launched a new app to scout models directly from their smartphones. Casting app Feels - internet speak for intense feelings - allows users to post high-res images of themselves for casting scouts, brands, bloggers and the wider fashion community to sift through, hoping to find the next Kate, Cara or Jourdan.

Launching today in the iOS App Store, Feels hopes to drag casting into the digital age and to create "a greater synergy between the wider fashion community and the fashion industry." App users hoping to become fashion's hot new faces can upload high-res outfit shots, tagging the labels they are wearing in order to get noticed by their favorite brands. Brands feeling the tag-love can download the images for use in editorial and campaigns, and Storm scouts will also be on the look out for the most exciting new faces to sign to their books.

Online model hunts have already started to shake up the way fashion brands find their new faces, with huge brands looking to social media for the next big things. Marc by Marc Jacobs took to Twitter and Instagram to find new blood, asking fans around the world to post pictures of themselves with the hashtag #CastMeMarc. The resulting campaign featured a diverse line-up of models, representing a much more broad range of body shapes and beauty styles. Hopefully, by presenting a more diverse range of faces to brands, Feels will enable and encourage even more diverse casting across the fashion and beauty industries.
