"When you say it's gonna happen 'now'/ Well when exactly do you mean?/ See I've already waited too long/ And all my hope is gone." Morrissey fans have many anthems, but this How Soon is Now line hits a little too close to home when it comes to actually seeing the man perform live. A string of illnesses caused the former Smiths frontman to postpone, and eventually cancel, most of the dates on his last US tour. But after a largely successful run of European shows this fall (only one Dutch date was re-re-scheduled), Mozzer is heading back to the USA!

The singer took to his trusted True To You fansite to announce the American shows supporting his most recent album World Peace is None of Your Business. The tour kicks off in New Orleans on June 11, after a few shows in Spain and Australia. While openers for most of the 17 dates have yet to be confirmed, Morrissey will be joined by some pretty special guests. Dresden Doll Amanda Palmer will close out the tour on its final San Jose stop, while Blondie (!) will join Mozzer at Madison Square Garden on June 27. We're sure a ticket line has already started forming on 34th Street, and someone better save us a space blanket.
