natalie westling fronts the new vans campaign
It’s a match made in half pipe heaven
Natalie Westling isn't like any other model. Sure, she's fronted campaigns for Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs, Celine, and Tom Ford, and yes she's got over 46,000 followers on Instagram; but unlike the Kendal's and Cara's of today's generation, this flame haired Arizonian beauty is far more comfortable away from the camera, doing things she loves the most.
Trading the catwalk for the skatepark, Natalie's love of skateboarding can be traced back to when she was only three years old; she's so committed to the sport that she has the word "skate" tattooed in graffiti writing on her left arm, while her right arm is inked with the Vans logo, which is why her being named an ambassador for Vans' Sk8-Hi shoe silhouette campaign, alongside skate and music legends Steve Caballero, Syd Tha Kyd, Lizzie Armanto, Henry Rollins, and Wade Goodal. The campaign celebrates the brand's 50th anniversary and could not have been more appropriate. Natalie and Vans are a marriage made in half pipe heaven.
