London designer James Long, who has been showing at the city's fashion weeks since his debut in 2008, has been appointed the Creative Director of Iceberg menswear. His first collection for the Italian brand will be revealed at Milan's men's fashion week in January 2016. James told i-D that it's "very exciting. Iceberg really created casual sports knitwear in 74 so naturally it felt a great brand to work for. I can't wait to show the new collection in Milan."

Paolo Gerani, CEO of Gilmar Group, who own Iceberg said, "The sportswear aesthetic, the innovative approach to knitwear, the passion for prints and the employ of technical fabrics, make James Long the right creative director of Iceberg menswear collection, interpreting the DNA of the brand, made of handcrafting, research, knitwear, bold colours and playfulness; always respecting the Made in Italy." And fans of James's own line fear not: he will continue to show it at London Collections: Men.
