"I think the condom is the greatest piece of clothing ever invented!" proclaims legendary designer Jean Paul Gaultier. "My message to everyone is PROTECT YOURSELF. I have been involved in the fight against AIDS for many years now and will continue to do so for as long as I am needed." Currently helping out by teaming up with Eastpak, the two brands have teamed up on a limited edition collection in support of very worthy cause, Designers Against AIDS (DAA).

The fourth in a series of artist collaborations, Eastpak's relationship with Jean Paul Gaultier began with a single bag and has naturally grown into a fully blown backpack collection. Three awesome limited edition designs (available 1st February) combine JPG's iconic corsetry with Eastpak's military heritage; featuring detailed leather lacing inspired by jet pilot uniforms. The main collection (scheduled for release on 1stApril) again merges vision and functionality; interpreting Gaultier's signature denim and bomber jacket styles in backpack form. All bags feature the designer's Bretton stripe on the back, with part of all sales going to DAA who raise awareness of HIV/AIDS worldwide.
