Central Saint Martins' reputation as the premier fashion school in the world shows no signs of dwindling with their newest project partnering with global real estate adviser Cushman & Wakefield.
BA Fashion, Communications and Promotion students were invited to conceptualise a live fashion event that will take place in February 2015, which will showcase 'The Future of Fashion'.
Students explored ideas for a full sensory experience, inviting would-be guests to immerse their senses and explore themes around sight, sound, movement, interaction, film, touch all whilst showcasing the wears of Central Saint Martins fashion graduates Quoi Alexander, Sang Yoon and Charlotte Tydeman.
The students presented a series of highly creative proposal yesterday to an expert panel of judges including i-D's own managing editor Lynette Nylander and Justin Taylor, head of EMEA retail at Cushman & Wakefield.
The winning concept entitled 'Central Saint Martinez' - came complete with ideas for themed rooms to exhibit the designers' work as well a proposal that would see the St Martins campus transformed into a luxury hotel experience.
The winning team will bring their concept to life at the event at Central Saint Martins campus in Kings Cross next year as well as receiving a £1,000 cash prize.
