Following last week's announcement of new album, The BrideBat for Lashes has revealed the full video for first single "In God's House" and you can watch it here below. Shot in the Californian desert at sunset, the video is our first glimpse at the titular character behind the album. The singer grieves at the grave of her lost finance, buried beneath a very Lynchian lightbulb-clad cross. Raising questions such as, 'Who is The Bride?' and "Who on earth will change all those 40w bulbs in the middle of a desert anyway?' the film was conceived by Khan and co-directed by John De Menil.

Half love song/half eulogy, "In God's House" is the first release from an album that follows the story of a woman whose fiancé has been killed in a crash on the way to their wedding. It's being billed as her "most ambitious work to date, sonically and visually" (which is pretty exciting when you consider she's not exactly been shy on that so far) and, what's more, she's going to be performing the album in full at special, select shows in churches throughout England and North America in a couple of months' time. The perfect setting for what's shaping up to be the ultimate 21st century death disc, The Bride invites you all to wear wedding/formal attire for the occasion, with a portion of proceeds going towards the David Lynch Foundation, bringing Transcendental Meditation to at-risk populations around the world.

Tickets are on sale now at batforlashes.com with The Bride released on July 1.
