They say the best things come in pairs, and there's no better pairing than Xavier Dolan and i-D cover star Adele. Not only did Xavier direct the singer's iconic video forHello, which broke all records for "most viewed" videoin the world, the dynamic duo will be teaming up once more for the French-Canadian filmmaker's first ever English-language drama, The Death of John F. Donovan, according to Screen Daily. The news comes after Adele told Kiss FM, "I'm sure I'll get some flak for this, but I actually would like to act after working with Xavier. I would be in a film for him, definitely." If last year's Mommy is anything to go by, the new flick starring Jessica Chastain, Susan Sarandon and Kathy Bates, and centring around an American movie star who career crumbles due to a relationship with an 11-year-old boy, is set to be a corker. Will she be contributing a Bond-esque theme song though?
