What do you do?
I cook at a brunch restaurant and bar in Toronto's west end.

How would you define beauty?
Beauty is something you want to stare at.

What is your idea of perfect beauty?
Something you don't have to alter, something natural.

Who is the most beautiful person in the world?
My mother.

Do you think you're beautiful?
I didn't always, but I've grown to think so.

When does making yourself "beautiful" become too extreme?
When you risk your safety or health in the pursuit of it. When it takes over your common sense and becomes the most important thing to you.

How has technology/social media affected our beauty ideals today?
It has contributed to ruining true natural beauty by making us believe our flaws are disgusting. It gives you a cookie-cutter image of what is beautiful, an image that can be impossible to emulate.

Is beauty really in the eye of the beholder?
Of course. Everyone has different opinions.
