i-D are judging the Best Styling in a Video category.
The nominees for this years UK Music Video Awards have been announced and i-D will be there to help select the winner of Best Styling. Staged for the second time at London's legendary Roundhouse on 20 October, the annual celebration of creative and technical excellence in music video making will see former i-D cover star Beyoncé battle it out alongside Mykki Blanco, Tame Impala, Jamie xx, Hurts and Metronomy for Best Styling in a Video.
Massive Attack's Voodoo In My Blood leads the way as one of the most nominated videos, going head to head with other i-D favourites Years & Years in the Best Video Artist section. As well as honouring the best work in music videos, there are awards for other music films, including Best Music Documentary, which sees Blur's New World Towers in contention with Unlocking The Truth's Breaking A Monster for the gong.
Editorial director, David Knight, says, "The nominations at this year's UK Music Video Awards confirm that it's been a fantastic year for music video creativity, here in the UK and across the world. We're now in our ninth year, and we can safely say that as the music video has become more important to the music industry over that time, it has reemerged as a focus of creativity and entertainment."
The UK Music Video Awards 2016 take place at London's Roundhouse on 20 October. More information on nominees can be found here.
