Today’s exclusive first listen, Follow the Leader, was written a couple of years back when the now Brits Critics Choice-winner was just starting out in the industry and regularly collaborating with her old pal Maverick Sabre, who was in turn working with talented wordsmith George the Poet. In a beautiful coming together of three very honest artists, the three muse over how easy it is to get stuck in a continuous cycle and the importance of being accountable for your own decisions, over a minimal bouncing production. “It's about how problems can persist and keep going around in circles because people are too scared to stand up and do their own thing,” Jorja said of the track over email.

The accompanying video, shot a whole lot more recently by director Stephen Isaac-Wilson,

is all black cabs, bus stops, and late night lit up launderettes. “I wanted to create something soft and dream like, that showed another side to urban life in south London," he told i-D. George went on to explain that, “this song represents life in London for lots of us. It's a constant grind and it can get lonely, but you have to hold on to your inner light.” Hold on to yours, tight, and watch the video below.
