CNN Money has just reported that the 25-year-old singer and documented crafting enthusiast has purchased X-rated domains involving her own name before some troll beats her to the punch. Acquiring TaylorSwift.porn and TaylorSwift.adult, it would seem Swift truly is the master of her domain.
According to CNN, the moves comes after ICM registry allowed a certain group of individuals and organizations the opportunity to buy up XXX sites bearing their names before purchase opens to the public on June 1. This hilarious but wisely preventative measure isn't exactly surprising coming from Swift, who earlier this year copyrighted six of her peppiest 1989 lyrics including "This Sick Beat," "Party Like It's 1989," "Cause We Never Go Out Of Style," "Could Show You Incredible Things," and (rather inconveniently for the rest of the world) "Nice To Meet You. Where You Been?"
And Swift isn't the only one making sure her largely wholesome reputation remains in tact. Microsoft is rumored to have jumped on the bandwagon as well, purchasing (wait for it) Office.porn and Office.adult, perhaps derailing an entire subgenre in the process.
