It's still 209 days until Halloween — yes, we're counting — but Coney Island's Spook-A-Rama isn't Brooklyn's only option if you're planning to hit up a haunted house before the scary season. Gorillaz are gearing up to drop their long awaited new album Humanz on April 28 — their first record in seven years. To celebrate, everyone's favorite cartoon band is opening a series of "spirit houses" based on the video for their recent mini-film "Saturnz Barz (Spirit House)," a Popcaan-featuring playlist of four new songs. The house then moves to Berlin from April 28-30, and Amsterdam on May 6.

The trippy six-minute animation depicted Murdoc, 2D, Russel, and Noodle roaming a run-down mansion filled with graffiti, haunted fridges, creaky stairs, and questionable cheesecake. Their IRL pop-up version is a collaboration with Sonos and takes place in Brooklyn from April 21-23. "Come and bathe in high-tech sound, feast on unearthly visuals, and let the experience take you on the ultimate trip," Murdoc teased. According to Pitchfork, a press release promised an "immersive, high fidelity" experience in "raw spaces" with exclusive music, custom artwork, physical installations, and digital projections. Entry in all cities is free and you can RSVP here
