a number of names* open soho store
The company, who distribute Cav Empt, Billionaire Boys Club and more, are setting up shop in London.
Distribution and marketing companies don't normally have their own stores, but A Number of Names* or anon* have bucked the trend by opening up in Soho. "I've always thought about having my own store, but never really seriously," owner Craig Ford told us. Ford has previously launched the first ever BAPE store outside Japan and managed the Billionaire Boys Club and ICECREAM London stores over the past few years. Now it's time to run his own space, and with that comes the launch of anon* the label. "People have asked me for years why don't you do your own brand. Both have just happened organically. I made some clothes for promo and for ourselves. When my boys were wearing them at clubs people were asking where they could buy them, when they said they weren't for sale they were offered money for them. When the store and website opportunity came along it just seemed natural." As well as this new line of its own, the anon* store will also sell all the brands it reps (including Gourmet, Kinfolk, 6876 as well) and look out, because there are collaborations in the pipeline too.
