When the full cast for the Twin Peaks revival was announced earlier this year, we noticed it was stacked with musical talent. Clearly not content to let his love of musicians rest there, David Lynch has announced he's launching his first music festival. While one would assume his take on Coachella would be all rolling mist and strange figures singing backwards, it looks like less of a cult hit and more of a blockbuster: he's invited every legend he's ever met to join in.

David Lynch's Festival of Disruption will feature music from Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Xiu Xiu, Questlove, and Twin Peaks pals Sky Ferreira and Angelo Badalamenti. Just incase that's not enough to get you out of bed, there will also be talks by Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern, Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, and Mel Brooks. As well as a David Lynch photography exhibition and screenings of his films.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, with all proceeds going to the David Lynch Foundation — his project to help people deal with trauma through transcendental meditation. Make sure you jump on the site early to grab your ticket, because there is no way this won't sell out.
