did adele drop a new track in this commercial?
As karaoke lyrics showed on a black screen, an Adele-like voice sang them for 30 seconds. The internet has gone wild.
Adele's dulcet tones are the stuff of legend, instantly recognizable and much-craved after five years with no new music and in anticipation of her third studio album, rumored to be dropping later this year.
Although there has been no official word from Adele or her record label, XL, a mysterious 30 seconds of a suspiciously Adele-like vocals with piano accompaniment appeared during an X-Factor ad break last night, and the internet is very excited about it.

"Hello, it's me, I was wondering if after all these years, you'd like to meet to go over everything," the doleful voice implores, adding that, "They say that time's supposed to heal ya, but I ain't done much healing," followed by an enigmatic "...".
We know very little about Adele's third album, other than: it's expected to arrive this winter, that Sia wrote a track with Adele for it that she ended up using for her own album instead, and a handful of collaborators will be featured. Danger Mouse is said to have been working on it, Swedish pop producer Max Martin has contributed a single, Canadian singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. has apparently written an standout track, and Ryan Tedder -- frontman of pop rock band OneRepublic -- has worked on it, after co-writing 21 track Rumor Has It.
