Gisele Bündchen is the Brazilian beauty and baby mother to newly born Benjamin with her husband, the American football quarterback, Tom Brady. The living embodiment of health, wealth and happiness, Gisele and Tom are two of the most amazing specimens of mankind to ever walk this earth. Impossibly tall, impossibly perfect, impossibly attractive, impossibly talented, impossibly clever and impossibly generous, when not working or being parents, the amazing pair work for several charity organisations, helping raise awareness to campaigns such as global warming and cancer.

You write your own blog - Blog da Gisele - and you have your own Facebook and Twitter page, what is it about social networking sites that appeals to you? And what are your favourite topics to blog about?
I enjoy writing my blog and having a place where I can communicate my thoughts with fans, peers, and friends. I have a wonderful group of people that contribute to the site by keeping it current while bringing attention to important topics I hope to bring awareness to.

What charities do you support?
I have supported several different organisations throughout my life, Saint Judes children Hospital for Cancer, several breast cancer campaigns, and the Red Campaign are a few that come to mind... Around January 2004, I started working more intensely on environmental causes. I have worked with a few different organisations in parts of Brazil, U.S. and Costa Rica focused on preserving our planet. In 2007, my family and I initiated a project near my hometown called, 'Agua limpa project' to clean the rivers in the area that were being eroded/polluted.

You received some negative press last December after publicly stating that you felt no pain during the birth of your son Benjamin. Did the criticism affect you?
Everyone experiences life in different ways and with birth, it was no different. I spent a lot of time preparing for the moment, so when it came, I embraced it and focused on what I had envisioned my birth to be, without fear of the pain... I was so excited to meet my son, and I realised that with each powerful contraction, I was closer and closer to holding him in my arms. I was focusing on breathing and relaxing as best I could.. It's not to say my son's birth was not mentally and physically intense, I just wouldn't use the word painful. To me it was just part of the process that needed to happen in order for me to receive the biggest gift of my life. Giving birth to my son was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had.

For all new mothers wanting to bounce back to a beautiful body, what exercise and eating plan would you recommend?
I believe that eating healthy and exercising regularly is important for a healthy body and a healthy mind. I try to live an active healthy lifestyle, so after my son was born, and I got my energy back, I could get back into the things that I have always done. Kung fu, yoga, and weight training to name a few. I think the secret is to find something you enjoy doing so it doesn't feel like work.?

Benjamin has two very famous parents, how do you intend to keep his feet on the ground and shield him from the media spotlight?
I don't spend too much time thinking about that. What I will always try to do is be there to love and support them in any?way that I can. Children are very smart and they learn each and every day what it means to be a man or a woman, by watching their parents. I try to be very conscious of that and be an example for my children, in the same way that my parents were incredible examples for me.

In March you and Tom both filmed Youtube videos encouraging your fans to turn their lights off for one hour in support of World Wildlife Funds Earth Hour, why is this charity of particular importance to you and what can each one of us do to help?
I feel that anything that I can do to bring awareness about environmental issues I will do. This is our world and I think we can all learn more about what each of us can do to help preserve our planet for the generations to come. We need to make conscious decisions and learn how to live in harmony with our planet.

What does a 'balanced lifestyle' mean to you?
It means to be present and to live each moment with awareness. To have our body, mind and soul connected. Oh, and to only have one scoop of ice cream for dessert! Haha!

Benjamin's mother is a fashion icon and his father a sporting hero, what do you hope the future holds for baby Benjamin??
Like every parent, we hope for health and happiness for our children. They are going to make their own choices, and we will always be there to love them and support them as best we can.
