This weekend will see psych fans float into Liverpool for the city's annual international psych festival. As well as VR installations and late night immersive 360 audio-visual realms soundtracked by all manner of DJs, the line-up promises live performances from the likes of Super Furry Animals, Eagulls, The Wytches, Ulrika Spacek, and - something we're particularly excited about - a handful of artists from Kikagaku Moyo's Japanese label Guruguru Brain. Also on the cards is a guaranteed-to-be-great set from our mates Flamingods, who've made a really good mix to get you in the mood.

"It's a psychedelic voyage exploring some of the great acts playing at this years Liverpool Psych Fest, whilst also tucking into some psych nuggets we've been inspired by over the years," Kamal of Flamingods tells i-D, "from Bollywood Groove to Japanese Folk and the righteous sounds of Don Cherry. The lineup for the festival is insane this year! We're really looking forward to catching sets from Acid Mothers Temple, Kikagaku Moyo, Vanishing Twin, Harald Grosskopf, Ulrika Spacek, Cairobi, Nawksh and Cavern of Anti Matter to name but a few!'

Liverpool Psych Festival takes place from tomorrow. Further info and tickets available here.
