Killer Mike recently gave a witty, impassioned lecture on race relations at MIT as part of their Hip Hop Speaker Series. Known for his socially conscious lyricism and political activism, the lecture saw the rapper discuss Azealia Banks, Kanye West and Iggy Azalea. In the talk, which is a true pleasure to watch, the artist is critical of modern apathy in the face of injustice. Listen out for the mention of Australia's own Tkay Maidza.

Killer Mike also recently spoke to listeners at NYU in a three-hour lecture that similarly discussed police brutality and racism in America. In closing, he implored the audience to "Go make friends with someone who doesn't look like you!"
