It's New Generation Week on i-D.co and where better to find the stars of tomorrow than at London's top design schools? We headed down to the London College of Fashion to shoot the BA(Hons) Fashion Design graduates. Remember their names!
What made you want to study fashion?
I have always been interested in creating stories, and I think that's what drew me to style and fashion, that it's an extension of people's personalities. It's a way to create your own narrative and image.
What inspired your FMP?
Ritualistic and ceremonial pagan dress mixed with urban workwear.
Do you think you still need a degree to work in the creative industries?
I think that it has been incredibly valuable for me to do my degree at LCF. It gives you time to experiment and develop you own style. Something that is hard to do just through work experience or an apprenticeship.
What are you doing this weekend?
I am shooting my collection - the photographer Catalin Plesa has built his own camera, so I'm really excited to see the outcome!
What's the best thing about living in London?
Sitting next to the canal at Broadway Market and having a beer with my girlfriend in the summertime.
I am starting a men's and women's label with two friends, called Unsung.
