This is huge: Björk is coming to our shores for Sydney's Vivid festival. She'll be there to launch a mini-museum of her own work, which will house a tonne of "digital and video works" the festival has called "the result of Björk's new collaborations with some of the finest visual artists and programmers in the world." From the sounds of things, that astounding 360 music video isn't the only exciting digital art piece Björk has created. To celebrate the exhibition the five-time i-D cover star will come and DJ for just one evening in early June. If you've seen her on the decks, you know this is massive. If you haven't, hear her in action now.

We should really give you a second to take that in, but we can't, 'cause there's more good news. She'd not the only musical hero Vivid are bringing out: New Order will be also playing a tonne of shows. Plus, electronic producers Oneohtrix Point Never and Ta-Ku have joined the bill, plus ANOHNI (formerly of Antony and The Johnsons) will play her fifth album HOPELESSNES in full at the Sydney Opera House.

On the ideas front, Spike Jonze and Margaret Zhang will both be speaking at the festival. Start planning your outfit for Björk now. Vivid Sydney opens on May 27th and closes June 18th. For more extra details, click here
