Famed for her deeply personal portraits of marginalised characters and societies, Nan Goldin has turned her lens to fashion for McQ's spring/summer 16 campaign. Shot partly at their recent party with WARP at Electrowerkz in Islington, and calling on Zach Robinson, drummer for the band Swim Deep alongside Mayka Merino, Taj Figeroa, Jonah Larrington, the campaign captures the hedonism and excitement of London's youth and nightlife.

On the campaign Goldin commented, "Usually I use my own friends in my shootings but to my surprise I made a real connection with these kids and really enjoyed them -- especially watching Taj playing football with an apple." The result is an intimate, visceral series of photos that could sit as comfortably in an exhibition as on a billboard.
