With a brand new creative director at the helm — Raf Simons' successor and the first woman ever in the role, Maria Grazia Chiuri, formerly of Valentino — all eyes are on Dior this season. Ahead of her debut at the spring/summer 17 catwalk show in Paris on Friday, the French maison has released a series of short films, grouped with the hashtag #TheWomenBehindMyDress, giving fans a sneak peek behind the scenes.

The six short films include interviews with the women making Chiuri's first collection in the Dior ateliers, as well as house calligrapher Lili (who writes the show invites), and models at the casting. Each answers the question, "Who is your female role model?" There is also a film showing the casting session, watched over by designer Maria and fashion-music maestro (and Instagram star) Michel Gaubert. Watch the full series on Dior's Instagram
