The third and final new Bowie song from the Lazarus musical has been released. "Killing A Little Time" follows the spacey, vocally-layered "When I Met You" and the atmospheric slow jam "No Plan," which premiered yesterday on BBC radio shows. "Killing A Little Time" is heavier, opening with a scuzzy rock and roll guitar intro with a building tension before Bowie's inimitable vocal kicks in: "I staggered through this criminal reign / I'm not in love, no phony pain / Creeping through this tidal wave / No warm embrace, just a lover's grain".

The three tracks are understood to be some of the last music Bowie recorded, with producer Tony Visconti and his Blackstar album band. The three tracks appear on the Lazarus musical soundtrack — along with other songs from the cast — which will be released in full tomorrow, Friday, October 21.

Lazarus opened off-Broadway in New York in December 2015, selling out the entire run immediately, with Bowie making his final public appearance at the opening night on December 7; it closed, after an extended run, 10 days after Bowie died on January 10, 2016. The production opens at the King's Cross Theatre in London with many of the same cast members on November 8, 2016, and runs until January 22, 2017.
