Karl Lagerfeld really does not want to be in the Zoolander sequel, he made clear in a recent interview with Hello! Canada. But don't think he wasn't asked. He also took the opportunity to express his disapproval of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson's appearance on the Valentino runway during Paris Fashion Week, with a cool "I didn't like it."

Karl is a busy man. He puts out 17 collections a year, while also juggling hang time with his BFF Kendall Jenner, supervising his iPod nanny, and managing his cat Choupette's $4 million income. It is perhaps unsurprising that he would not want to add a hectic shooting schedule to this already intimidating workload.

But, he explained, his main reason for turning down the opportunity to appear alongside rumored cameo co-stars Kanye, Kim and Anna Wintour was simply that he is "not an actor." Well, he had us fooled. No one plays a villainous fashion mastermind better.

Zoolander 2 (Twolander?) will hit cinemas in the US, without Karl, in February 2016.
