Wear… Loewe’s photocopy anagram T-shirts

Loewe, famed Spanish purveyors of classy and relaxed luxury wear, continue to innovate, presenting with their iconic insignia in myriad new ways. Right now, as we head into the hottest week in recent memory, we’re sort of obsessed with their collection of Photocopy Anagram T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies. With front and back pinks in fluorescent shades of pink and yellow, these bleached-look garments give off the vibe of vintage fashion magazines left in the scorching sun. T-shirts for the day; hoodies and sweatshirts for when night comes. Grab yours by heading to the Loewe website here.

Snag…  SUNNEI vinyl and Bowers & Wilkins headphones

Every season, Milanese fashion titans Simone Rizzo and Loris Messina — aka the brains behind SUNNEI — pair their show with a killer soundtrack. Then, once it’s over and we prepare to get the garments in our hands, we can relive the show experience at home with the soundtrack on vinyl. Available now in highlighter yellow is SUNNEI SYSTEM VOL. 2, written and produced by Tocci, exclusively on the SUNNEI web store. There’s only 200 copies of this, so be quick, and grab it here.

If you’re looking to upgrade your headphone situation, look no further than the just-dropped Px7 S2. The chic over-ear headphones come approved by Wolf Alice, who front the campaign, and promise a supreme noise-cancelling experience. Plus, they’re made by Bowers & Wilkins, who have long been supplying Abbey Road Studios with equipment, so you know your favourite tunes will sound great. Get a pair here.

Watch… Nope

Finally! After what feels like years of waiting in the dark, we’re finally about to find out what Jordan Peele’s UFO movie Nope is all about. The anticipated sci-fi, starring Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer and Steven Yeun, has been shrouded in secrecy since we first saw that mystical poster. With a review embargo that drops just the day before release, it seems like Jordan Peele is doing everything in his power to keep us guessing up until the last minute. Ready to find out? Go pre-book your tickets: Nope hits US theatres on Friday 22 July and UK theatres on 12 August.

Read… The Trio

A buzzy new Scandi debut, The Trio by Johanna Hedman has already racked up huge acclaim in the author’s homeland of Sweden. Set there, and following a trio of friends from different socio-economic backgrounds, the novel takes us back to two consecutive summers over which the titular group bond. It’s reflective, pondering the questions of what could have been, and how the circumstances of how we bond in our youth impact our futures. You can buy it physically here. Alternatively, grab the eBook or audiobook.

Listen to… Nell Mescal and Palaye Royale

Nell Mescal – recognise the surname? Yep, this Irish singer-songwriter’s brother is our Normal People king. But the soft-souled vocalist stands firmly on her own with her new track “Graduating”, about those transitional years we experience, caught firmly between the friends and lovers of our past and the future that stretches out ahead. Gorgeous stuff from a promising new star. Watch the video above and follow her on Instagram here.

LA-based glam-rock trio Palaye Royal — comprised of brothers Remington Leith (vocals), Sebastian Danzig (guitar) and Emerson Barrett (drums) — have announced their new album with its title track, “Fever Dream”. The band’s music, inspired by their wild upbringing in Las Vegas, has a euphoric, energising quality to it, and is made in collaboration with producer Chris Greatti, known best for his work with Grimes. Check out their new track above and follow their Instagram here.

See… Gilles Peterson's We Out Here
