Although Stormzy hasn’t released new music in a little while, he keeps on making headlines. This year he’s teamed up with Penguin Random House to launch his own imprint, #Merky Books, partnered with Cambridge University on a grant for black students, critiqued Oxford University for not partnering with him on said grant (an accusation they deny) and been announced as the first Glastonbury headliner of 2019.

Today sees him cropping up again, this time with the reveal of his partnership with adidas Originals on a collection of archive 90s and 00s inspired tracksuits and T-shirts. The collection, entitled adidas Originals SPRT, is now available to pre-order exclusively on JD Sports, with a full release on 30 November. It’s the first in a series of ongoing projects celebrating the youth culture of south London, with the collection accompanied by the words: “Be proud of where you're from and comfortable wherever you're going. Stormzy's everyday uniform is the new SPRT tracksuit.”
