Puff Daddy is celebrating his 46th birthday today by releasing MMM, a free "sonic motion picture" that definitely resembles a mixtape (but he says don't call it that), with a feature list packed full of heavy hitters, including Lil Kim, Future, Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, Ty Dolla $ign and Jadakiss. The front cover? An Annie Leibovitz shot of Diddy and Kate Moss climbing out of a car in all their finery. 100% swag.

"I'm dropping this body of work -- I don't want to call it a mixtape, or an album even -- it's a sonic motion picture. It's something I've been working on for a minute, and I just decided to drop it on my birthday. A gift of music, to the world," Diddy explained on the Breakfast Club radio show.

The title, MMM, comes from the character Money Making Mitch in Paid In Full, which Diddy says he was "so late" to watch because of "heavy competition" between his record label Bad Boy, and Damon Dash and Jay Z's label and film company Roc-A-Fella, who made the movie.

"What Dame [Dash] and Jay [Z] did, this right here, it's Shakespearean! This thing should have won an Oscar!" Diddy says of Paid In Full, explaining, "I was late, I was so late. But it had that effect on me. I was like, 'Damn, what if Mitch lived and survived and took his business skills and used it on the world of business?' I'm not living the American Dream; I'm living the Black American Dream -- I had to work ten times harder to get to this point, and that's the hustle spirit… that's the thing that really inspired me".

Diddy hosted an "impromptu listening party" last night and has revealed the full MMM track list on his social media, with an updated release time of 3pm US time (8pm UK time). Three tracks that were played on the radio -- Everyday, All Or Nothing and You Could Be My Lover -- are available online while we wait for the full "sonic motion picture" to drop.
