Saint Laurent may no longer be Los Angeles based, but the stream of talent heading west is yet to slow down. On the 11th of June, Hood By Air, the New York based label designed by Shayne Oliver, will be showing a special capsule collection as part of Made LA, a weekend of shows that includes Moschino's men's spring/summer 17.

In line with the industry trend for ready to buy collections, the entire collection will be available to pre-order during the show, landing on the brand's site a month later, and this is something they'd like to carry forward, with garments available after performances and presentations (sounds a bit like merch, which we're into). Speaking to Vogue, Oliver said "I would rather create my own way of speaking to my customer as opposed to being a part of fashion's reformation of itself." For their LA show, musician Sean Bowie will be performing a one off concert, coinciding with streamed online runway show - once again, HBA are setting the runway agenda.
