How would your girlfriends describe you? I'd hope that they would say I'm kind and loving, but the first thing would probably be how annoyingly rational and critical I am. Describe your dream dinner party? Pipilotti Rist, Anjelica Huston, Vivienne Westwood and Joan Hornsby (my grandma). She would definitely bring an unusual energy to the room, as well as three packs of cigarettes and a two-layered tin of biscuits. Who are the women inspiring you right now? At the moment I find the work of Barbara Kruger really interesting, and more specifically her recent iPhone prints and her artist ads in Dazed from 1996. They are more relevant in today's world of social media than ever before which is exciting. Locally, I really admire musician and performance artist Rainbow Chan, sculptor Hilarie Mais, and my best friend Lily who runs China Girl. Favourite female film character? Trinity from the Matrix and Bridget Jones. Favourite woman in history My mum. She's a super power lady.

If you could have dinner with three women who would they be? Kim Kardashian, Grimes, and my mom. Who inspires you? Björk has always been a huge inspiration to me as a musician and for her style. Similarly I'd say Grimes. I used to be obsessed with Chloe Sevigny and still kind of am. I am always inspired by other trans women and their work in art, film and fashion. Women like Hari Nef, Rowan Oliver and I honestly just want to list my Insta following. My friend Jess, who has mentored me as a DJ, I feel the most supported at this time in my life, and that's thanks to other women inspiring me. It's always refreshing. I also love the Kardashian and Jenner girls. Favourite film character ? I'd like to list every role played by Nicole Kidman.

Grace Jones, Tilda Swinton and Bianca Jagger — each a strong female role model and influencer in their own right. Who are the women, locally and internationally, inspiring you right now? I'm inspired locally by Laura Bannister editor in chief of Museum Magazine, who is the most hard working person I know and who still finds time for her friends and is always up for a chat! If you could be another woman for the day, who would it be? If I could be a fictional character I'd be Rey — Daisy Ridley's character from Star Wars The Force Awakens, she kicks ass! Favourite female film character? Imperator Furiosa, Charlize Theron's character in Mad Max Fury Road. Favourite woman in history? Yevdokiya Zavaliy, a heroine of WWII.

If you could sit down for dinner with three women who would they be? Erykah Badu, she's God; my yiayia, purely to get lectured and test out my Greek; and my girl Danielle, because I'm assuming the dinner is fancy and she'd be mad if I ate good without her. What makes Australian women unique? We vary drastically in culture, look and style but for the most part our sense of humour is unparalleled. Who are the women locally and internationally inspiring you right now? Locally: all my girls. I'm thankful to be rich in quality friends who are unapologetically themselves, chase their dreams and back what they believe in. Internationally: Isamaya Ffrench for fucking up the makeup game like no other. Favourite female film character? Cecilia Roth as Manuela in All About My Mother, she's full of love and empathy. Favourite woman in history? Any powerful women who did good, made bank and didn't die for fucking love hey?

What's the best part about being a girl? Feeling a sense of solidarity with women and femme-ness. How would your girlfriends describe you? A butch prince. If you could sit down for dinner with three women who would they be? Difficult question, there are so many! So perhaps it'll be easier to answer in archetypes: I'd want to sit down with three femmes that embody the goddess of magic Hecate, the goddess of calm seas Galene, and the immaculate Mother Mary. What makes Australian women unique? The ability to be tough and tender at the same time. Who are the women inspiring you right now? Femmes, womxn, non-binary and gender non-conforming people inspire me daily. Enduringly, Hannah Bronte, Bhenji Ra, and Wu Tsang to name just a few.

Who are your female heroes? All the mamas out there, especially mine. What do you think makes Australian women unique? It is a beautiful privilege in Australia to live in a diverse society and be able to continually learn, exchange and express cultural knowledge. I think this has lead to a lot of solidarity between women. We all have different things to say but we're trying to find a collective voice. Who is your favourite woman in film? Maybe Grace Jones as May Day in A View To A Kill, complete bad bitch.

I just asked my best friend and she said, "Pink bad bitch of the North". That seems about right. If you could sit down for dinner with three women who would they be and why? Can I just say two and dine with Patsy and Eddie? In fact, we'd probably skip the dining part and go straight for the champagne and cigarettes. What do you think makes Australian women unique? We're determined, we support one another and we know how to look FIERCE while sipping on a VB tinny. If you could be another woman for the day, who would it be? Sofia Coppola.
