While Larry de Kat may not be known for his hip hop productions, the illusive producer has turned up with an EP that explores extends his production pallet a little further afield than house and techno.

With only a handful of releases out at the moment on the likes of Dungeon Meat's self-titled imprint and Adult Only France, Larry readies the Five Point After Dark EP on his own brand new label, Katnip. With tunes ranging from deep and punchy house through to melodic, sunshine laden hip hop, i-D are pleased to premiere one of the more downtempo cuts from the EP.

A track that be just at home on a beat tape as it is on this EP, I Still Don't (Part II) takes summertime grooves to a new level. Soothing saxophone lies next to subtle flute flickers, charming vocals from Rhoo and Larry himself, and a deep, rich bassline make this beat one of our firm new favourites.

Larry De Kat, Five Point After Dark EP is out 27th June. Pre-order it here.
