South Korean rap queen CL is about to make a big(ger) splash in the U.S.A. The former 2NE1 frontwoman drops her fervently anticipated first English-language solo EP later this year, having released its badass first single "Hello Bitches" in November. The new EP's title single "Lifted" is now here, complete with a laid-back turn-up music video that name-checks all the best parts of summer in NYC — including fire escapes, 40s, and fly outfits. CL's BFF Jeremy Scott definitely had a hand in her wardrobe, with one of the stand-out looks being a hooded and very heavily accessorized Moschino puffer vest. "I've always been colorful and taken risks. I like to play different characters," CL told us last year, adding that her fashion choices help express the message of her music. "I want to continue to do more than one style as to keep it interesting and fun." Watch CL make America great again below, and expect the new EP to feature many more surprises both sonic and sartorial.
