Grime fans heading to Indio for Coachella this weekend (or next) will most likely have to cross one big name off their festival itinerary. UK artist Skepta has just revealed that his U.S. visa has been denied, forcing him to cancel what would have been his first appearance at the two-weekend festival. "Love to everybody that wanted to see me on tour this month, my U.S visa has been denied and I am not allowed in America right now," he wrote to his 650k followers on Instagram this afternoon. "Still taking forward steps and forever working with God. Brb."

Outside of Coachella, Skepta is also scheduled to play San Francisco's 1015 Folsom on April 20, Denver Colorado's Bluebird Theatre on May 2, and North Carolina's Moogfest later in May. Moogfest would have been Skepta's first big show following the drop of his new album Konnichiwa on May 6.
