charli xcx, justin timberlake, lana del rey and everything else you need to hear this week

It’s collab central over here as Charli meets Ellie, Lana teams up with BØRNS, and Cardi and Bruno drip with Finesse.

Let’s face it, Don’t Delete the Kisses by Wolf Alice definitely didn’t need a remix. It was perfect even before pop boss Charli XCX came along and put her signature bubble-electric twist on it. That said, we’re certainly not complaining about these UK music forces combining. Maybe they should do it again some time? Someone crown BØRNS and Lana Del Rey prom King and Queen already! The beautiful duo duet on God Save Our Young Blood, a romantic ode to the lovesick kids of the world and a total anthem.

Cardi B and Bruno Mars team up on the funky Finesse (Remix), which’ll have you busting a move like it’s 1994. Watch the dance routine-filled music video here. Then, of course, there was the ultimate power move of getting Kendrick and SZA to come together again for the Black Panther OST, Drake's Mike WiLL Made-It collab, and JT’s Filthy robot sex comeback. And somehow those Aussie rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard had time to make yet another album, starting the year off with a psychedelic bang. Plus, there’s nice new stuff by Norway’s Farida, Danish singer-songwriter Soleima, Chloe x Halle (who made us an epic playlist of music by inspiring women not so long ago), old school sounding Cali rapper Cozz, and random ambient Soundcloud producer goosetaf who’ll play us out today with his mellow AF Jaeden Camstra collaboration, ascend. Enjoy!
