2015 saw DEXT Recordings make its mark on the scene in a solid way. The label's Ibiza showcase at Privelage -- plus a string of releases from the likes of Alden Tyrell, Oli Furness, Lo Shea, Bodyjack and the Zenker Brothers -- meant that DEXT was most definitely a name on more than a few people's lips. As DEXT sets sail into 2016, the label's fifth offering comes in the form of a new release from London based Callahan. Also known as one half of Mak & Pasteman, Callahan is Matt Bridgewater's venture into the deeper, darker realms of house and techno. This release is just DEXT's latest slice of UK tinged goodness.

Taken from the weighty four track EP is this huge remix from Bristol-based Livity Sound affiliate Hodge. He serves up a stomper on this edit of the EP's the lead track, "Don't Need." "After following Jake's [Hodge] production for the past few years I was hyped when he agreed to deliver a remix for the EP, It's balls to the wall UK Techno at it's finest! Tearing up raves each and every. Salute!!" says Callahan.

Turn it up!

Callahan Don't Need EP is out Friday, January 29. Pre order on vinyl here.
